I have preached salvation, the way to achieve it, and the fact that it is only provided by the loving grace of God. Few will preach what happens to those who are not saved, who are lost because they would not accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
Jesus who gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins. He is the reconciliation to God for all of us. Through Him, we are washed clean of past, present and future sins. We have become something new, perfect in the eyes of God. What a blessing from the Lord.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that.
What can we say for those who refuse, those who will not come to the Lord? They will suffer complete and eternal separation from the Lord. They will suffer eternal condemnation and great pain forever. Living in darkness and torture, thirsting for a drop of dew, though never to be relieved. The suffering of the lost is so completely described in scripture, that I will at this time, not repeat it here.
My job is to lead the way to God’s word of salvation. To bring into my sermon the promise of God’s redemption. To open the path to salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. To show that once saved you will receive the Holy Spirit. You will then become holy and clean before the Lord. You will be relived from the guilt of your past and sins. You will be a new creation.
"I am doing a new thing" (KJV) is a prophetic statement from God in Isaiah 43:19, encouraging people to look for the fresh, transformative work God is doing in their lives, rather than dwelling on the past. The verse continues by saying God will "make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert," signifying His power to create new paths and provide for His people even in difficult circumstances.
WE have the promise from our creator that we will be changed, we can walk in a new life, living in His word and commandments. You will realize as you walk this path that your outlook has changed. You will notice that some things you enjoyed before are repugnant to you now. You will find a peace that you could have never before imagined. So go for the new, go for the life that gives you peace through faith. Believing the very Word of God and trusting ion Him for all things.
You will become children of the living God in truth. Matthew 7:11 states, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!".
You will experience the full power and love of God in your life, and you will be changed. Amen.
